Exciting presence of the CAPTUS Project at several well-known International Conferences and Events!

Over the past two weeks, our partners have actively participated in three key events, sharing insights and progress of the project.

🎤 Event 1: 12th International Symposium on Catalysis in Multiphase Reactors and 11th International Symposium in Multifunctional Reactors – CAMURE 12 & ISMR 11 (08-11.09.2024, Ghent, Belgium) 🔸 CAPTUS partner: José Antonio Abarca González (University of Cantabria – UNICAN)
🔹 Oral contribution: “Design and construction of a large-scale GDE-based electrolyzer for sustainable formate production using CO2 as Feedstock

🎤 Event 2: Conference: Dream Reactions of CO2 – Capture, Conversion and Beyond (09-13.09.2024, Hillerød, Denmark)
🔸 CAPTUS partner: Stefano Rebecchi (Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant – BBEPP)
🔹 Poster contribution: “Microbial CCU technologies at Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant: The importance of open-access piloting

🎤 Event 3: European Materials Research Society (E-MRS) 2024 Fall Meeting
🔸 CAPTUS partner: Guillermo Diaz Sainz (University of Cantabria – UNICAN) 🔹 Oral contribution in the frame of the “Exploring emerging photo- and electrochemical systems for CO2 conversion into fuels and chemicals” symposium:  “Inhibiting salt precipitation on the Gas Diffusion Electrode surface using an acidic medium in the electroreduction of CO2 to formate in the gas phase

A huge thank you to our partners BBEPP and UNICAN for representing the CAPTUS project at all these relevant events.
