Between the 16th and 17th of January 2024, the CAPTUS project holds its 6-month General Assembly Meeting in Genoa, Italy.

During this two-day meeting, CAPTUS partners presented the progress of the different work packages. The consortium also discussed the next steps, upcoming actions and even the future exploitation of the key exploitable results of the project. In the afternoon of the first day, all participants had the opportunity to visit to premises of partner UNIGE in Savona.

The second day of the meeting included several workshops to further define and discuss the three demonstration sites in Belgium, Portugal and Spain, where the project will demonstrate sustainable and cost-effective pathways to produce high-added value renewable energy carries. This will be done by valorizing industrial carbon emissions and integrating renewable electricity surplus.

Thank you very much to our partner RINA for hosting the consortium meeting at its headquarters in beautiful Genoa.

The whole consortium is really looking forward to the next steps and challenges of the project!
