SINTEF (Norway) is an independent non-profit research foundation which, since 1950, has created innovation through development and research assignments for business and the public sector at home and abroad.As one of Europe’s largest research institutes, with multidisciplinary expertise, its purpose is to contribute to the development of society by carrying out research in the natural sciences, technology (including construction and civil engineering), and health and social sciences in collaboration with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and industry, public and other research and educational institutions.


Main role in the project:

Involved in management, baseline assessment and communications actions of the project, SINTEF unique role is the leadership of the Task 5.1 concerning the optimization of CSAR CO2 capture and conditioning pilot systemas well as the simulation, modelling and optimization of CAPTUS technologies.
