On 20 October 2025, CAPTUS was represented at the Materials for Sustainable Development Conference (MATSUS Fall 2025), held in Valencia, Spain. The conference brought together leading researchers, innovators, and industry professionals to discuss the latest advances in sustainable materials, clean technologies, and the transition toward a circular and low-carbon economy.

During the event, Guillermo Díaz Sainz delivered a talk titled “From Lab Scale to Electrolyzer: Continuous CO₂ Electroreduction for the Production of Formic Acid and Formate.” The presentation highlighted progress in scaling up electrochemical CO₂ conversion technologies from laboratory research to industrial applications, a key step in advancing CO₂ utilization pathways within the CAPTUS project.

MATSUS Fall 2025 provided a valuable platform for sharing knowledge, fostering collaboration, and driving innovation in sustainable materials and energy technologies across Europe and beyond.
